New Issues¶
If you are looking to report a new issue to the StoryMaker team, please read this first to understand how to best create the New Issue so we can mark it resolved as quickly as possible.
Tracker¶
To start you need to select from a drop down menu what type of issue you are creating.
- Bug | A technical problem with the app.
- Feature | Something you think the app should do which it doesn't do currently.
- Task | a change you think will make the app better, but isn't an issue with the functionality.
Private¶
Please do not check this box! There's a checkbox on the right hand side of the screen, we keep all of our bugs public so don't worry about it.
Subject¶
Write a one sentence description of your issue as clearly as possible. This text will go in the subject of an email for this issue, so try to keep it to 5-10 words maximum.
Description¶
Here is where you can really go into a lot of detail to the developer about your issue. Take your time and write out all the different specific issues that relate to the issue. The more information here the better.
Status¶
You can leave this set to New.
Priority¶
You can also leave this at Normal, unless you're listed as a manager or developer for this project and know that it needs to be rated higher.
Assignee¶
