Description

Text for the glossary terms (currently 119) needs to be found with a usable license, and definitions which are deemed acceptable. Then it needs to be organized for inserting into the app as a stand alone section.

We also need to discuss with someone on the Dev side what it would take in order to do a find replace for all the terms in the glossary, and inserting formatting around the terms in order to hyperlink them to the glossary for cross referencing.

The current list can be found here: https://dev.guardianproject.info/projects/wrapp/wiki/Glossary

The existing definitions are not in the google doc, but on the wiki. We have requested feedback from FPU, but not received it. Without feedback/go ahead Nathan can implement the existing definitions but its not certain to answer FPU's request.

I finished all definitions is the glossary, so instead of 18 items, we now have over 110 items.

Brian offered to make a final edit through the items, so back to Brian before Nathan can pull it into the app.

Brian, can you make a last stroll through the glossary before Nathan can import it into the app?

The thing that's mostly needed is that you make a choice between the duplicate items which are marked with a *

Hi Niels,

For the most part I think its fine to include all of these definitions. Some of the duplicates which are maked with a * I agree we can cut, some of them I'd like to keep instead of the new version (particularly, I think encryption is too detailed to be useful for the target audience of nontechnical users). That said, I believe the glossary is primarily your baby, and think you should have the final say.

Would you like me to make the few edits I have, then you can say yay or nay, and nathan can put them in the app?

Splendid Brian, just go ahead and remove the * items you think should be removed and make improvemen ts where needed. You can just push it to Nathan without my approval.
