Custom port does not save

Description
The version in Play Store contains a bug which will prohibit settings such as port number to be saved.
Tried on Original ROM and Cyanogen 11.
I first add a new Jabber account: user@domain, password, then click Advanced Account Settings, set Server Port and Connect Server then click Back on my Android phone.
Going back to Advanced Account Settings will either immediately show, or after some seconds, the default settings.
On those few occasions that save seems to work, the connection to the server will only write "Signing in..." but checking our server logs we see no attempt of connection.
