Hi!
The encryption setting "required" or "automatic" has no effect.
I always have to start OTR manually. The keys are already verified.

If set to "Automatically Attempt" the app will 1) see if your XMPP resource contains the "ChatSecure" string and auto-start an OTR session when that chat gets focus, or 2) when you send an outgoing plaintext message, will include the appropriate invisible "i want to speak OTR" whitespace tags in your message.

If you set to "Force / Require" it will not allow you to send any messages until you have an OTR session enabled. This is new code just committed here:
