Swiping away in recent apps leads to crash

Description
Swiping away CS in recent apps leads to a crash if you lose your internet connection any time after that. After you lose connectiom you can see the apps notification icon disappear and reappear. After that the app crashes when launching via notification bar.
Please fix this!!! This but is around since v12 and appeared several times in the bugtracker nevertheless it is still present. It is driving me nuts.

This is happening with every Version since v12 including the recent release in guardianproject.info/releases

I can't replicate here... Can you tell me what version of the OS and what device?
