When you send a message most of the time a little envelope next to it with an red x appears which, that's what I believe, indicates that the message is not sent yet. Then after a while when then opponentclient checks for messages the message gets sent and the envelope disappears. In some cases the envelope does not disappear at all. In such a case one does not know whether the app is still trying to send the message or definitely gave up. Please distinguish these two cases a little better. I would suggest that definitely not sent messages be marked with the envelope and a red x which is now already a symbol for that and messages which the app still tries to send are going to be marked with an envelope with a yellow arrow on it which indicates the message is going out or something like that.

A question I have is what does the envelope with the green check on it next to the slider for the encryption indicate? On my device the envelope has always a green check on it and doesn't change no matter if the conversation is encrypted or not.
