Orbot recently began disconnecting vy late every night...

And now its starting to disconnect randimly during the day.
I have a firewall that allows only 4 programs through: orbix, orfix, protonmail and NoRoot Firewall. I believe either my carrier AT&T, or Android/Google have found a way to bypass the firewall and shut Orbot off.
Can anything be done?
I updated Orbit snd Orfox, no change.
Unfortunately I have one of the few phones that hasn't/can't be rooted.
