StoryMaker™

[Please note, web functionality and expectations of the StoryMaker theme were set based on submitted designs for the workflow. SWN recognizes there may be some confusion between various parties, but currently the web module will not function properly without these inputs from the StoryMaker app.]

NOTE::WHEN ADDING/EDITING CONTENT, the StoryMaker Android app AND/OR a user adding content to the site must set certain options in order for content to roll-up and/or be displayed correctly in the desired areas. LETS EDIT SOME CONTENT NOW -> GO TO EDIT:

BODY: when adding a "youtuber" or "soundcloud" media item, the shortcode must be the only text entered here. If you add a description or any other text here, our custom content slider will barf and cry.

TITLE: use the title as your descriptor for content, NOT the body.

CONTENT TYPE: this MUST always be set to the appropriate content type. If the Android app doesnt set this field, content will not display in proper areas.

EXTERNAL MEDIA SOURCE: while this field may be important for future use, I don't use it for content display.

CATEGORIES: * THE MOST IMPORTANT PART * Setting this will put your content in the right spot. Take note of the "Featured in Player" category. If this is selected, it'll appear in the player. If not selected, the content will still display under the chosen section category.

VIDEO THUMBNAIL: you'll noticed I added a plugin that retrieves the vid thumbnail from youtube so we dont have to have multiple iframe loads on the page (hugely expensive and slow).

MEDIA NAVIGATION MENU:
I think I said it above, but you'll notice that these nav items aren't categories. These come from a custom template I created that calls the db for our custom field (media types). You can play with the query params to display some, or leave blank for ALL.
