Unable to turn off Sound notification

Description
When I try to disable the "Sound" notification by unchecking the box in the settings, it looks like the setting isn't saved, so it continues to play the ringtone (in my case, just vibrating), and when I open the settings menu again, the "Sound" box is checked again.
I have verison 14.2.0a on Android 5.1
