I downloaded Gibberbot on my Samsung Note a few weeks ago and have been using the app without any issues since. Yesterday I received a notification indicating ‘someone’ wanted to add me to their list and vice-versa and invite me to a conversation. I declined – I did not want to add them or chat to them. I use googletalk as the base communicator etc.
They appear however to now be added to my contact list in Gibberbot. I tried deleting them – and the first time that worked but after restarting the application the contact has reappeared and I cannot delete it or block it. I have checked through the googletalk application on my desktop and that contact is not listed as one of my contacts, neither is it on the block list. It appears only on the Gibberbot contact list. I have deleted the application and re-installed it and the same thing happens – that extra unwanted contact is there.

Could anyone advise me on how to remove that contact permanently? I believe it was a ‘spam’ invite etc.
