OTR verifying a Facebook contact not possible

Description
It is not possible to verify (OTR) a Facebook contact (online with ChatSecure or Pidgin). ChatSecure establishes successfully a OTR connection/session, however after clicking on “verify (contact)” nothing visable happens (and it remains with the “question mark”).
I use the current ChatSecure version (14.0.7-beta-2) on Android 4.4.2 (SpeedMod/CyanogenMod).
