When I wrote a message with more than one emoji (two or more in the same phrase), the message appeared at the top of the conversation with a different date. I repeated with two more emojis, and the same, they appeared at the top with the same different date. But when I tried whit only one emoji it behaved ok.

Now, a few hours later, I have rebooted the phone and the emojis appear in the correct place, all of them. And if I write two or more, they appear correctly too.

I use the las version in Android 2.3.6 in a Samsung Galaxy Mini Plus
