Description
Since the app records all sensor data once the camera is activated, if a user keeps the camera open in between capturing images, the images tend to have large amounts of metadata attached from that interim period, and potentially not relevant to the eventual image. Given that once the user exits the camera, it cannot be re-opened until the last image is processed, the incentive is to leave the camera open. Therefore, the default will likely be unwieldy amounts of metadata. Is it possible to build in a timeout feature such that the recording will stop at some point if the camera is left open in someone's pocket - or would that cause a problem in that there would be no way to reactivate the sensors when the user is ready to take another photo/video?
