Orbot can only transparently proxy a certain number of apps

Description
When using Orbot's transparent proxing feature, there seems to be a hard limit to the number of apps which can be picked to route through Tor. When I select one more app, no matter which one I pick, Orbot cannot start, and just gets stuck trying to connect to Tor. The number in question seems to be 111, though that's based on me counting checkboxes on a long, scrolling list, so I might be out by a couple.
I'm using a rooted Samsung Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.0.04 kernel 3.0.8-000006-g7f9fec6 se.infra@EI-29 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Mar 27 14:48:25 KST 2012 , build number IMM76D.L700FC12 , baseband version L700.05 V.FC12 / L700.FC12 . Orbot is version 0.2.3.17-beta-1.0.9-rc5a , from the Play store.
