we are currently using these as a stopgap:

These don't really match the style of the template icons:
1) the border is two thick
2) the sound wave should match the border color, not be grey
3) they are not properly sized per resolution DPI and so are blurry

Carrie, we don't have funds yet for this, but can you reply here to give me a ballpark of how long it would take you to do this?

Hey Josh!
I estimate 1 hour. Will these be used on the 'Make' screen for audio stories? Also, is the audio wave the same for each one, or should it depict something about the type of audio to be captured?
If the audio wave is the same for all, this would take less than an hour probably. If we need some creativity, it would take longer depending on what you need inside the frame.

I think having 5 different wave shapes would be good to make it clear to the eye that each icon is different. Don't worry about matching the shape to the description (unless you think that would be amusing).
The icons get used on the Make tab after you have recorded audio into a slot, but also on the Order tab for the little icons on the bottom you use to rearrange clips. Perhaps the order tab ones should be different since their size is so much smaller, we don't want those images to be scaled.
Go ahead and see what you can get done in an hour, I can afford that out of the current support budget.

Sorry, I was a bit unclear... to keep the time low feel free to just do one waveform at this time, unless you think you could do 5 without it being a ton of work.
SVG would be great, I can integrate it into the auto scaling script when you are done.

Closing this for now, though the audio icons still need an awful lot of work, this current design will work for now.
