The StoryMaker project is designed to help you capture, edit, and share your stories.
This policy is intended to acknowledge your rights while preserving our ability to provide
high quality service to the broadest audience possible. Accordingly, this is a “living
document,” and may change from time to time. By using the software, service, or any
applications (including the StoryMaker website and mobile applications), you agree

By accessing or using the StoryMaker website, service, or any applications (including
mobile applications) made available by StoryMaker or Small World News (collectively,
“the technology”), you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy as well as our End User License
Agreement, found here: http://storymaker.cc/about/eula. These documents affect your legal
rights and obligations. If you do not agree to this policy, do not access or use the technology.

Information collected: We may collect the personal information which you provide,
including your name, account information, e-mail address, and other contact information.
Information you submit using the technology is not confidential. You should exercise
caution when deciding what to disclose and do so at your own risk. By using the
technology, you agree to hold harmless Small World News for any claim rooted in
“moral rights,” including rights of publicity and privacy.

Third Party Content Sources: To enhance your user experience and provide interesting
or useful information, we may gather and provide others with information acquired from
other sources (for example, your YouTubetm biography).

Third Party Websites: We cannot guarantee your privacy on any website not controlled
by Small World News, including those you arrive at by visiting an advertisement or link
originating on this site. We are not responsible for the terms or policies of sites we do
not control.

Site use: The technology may allow you to access, or provide feedback relating to user-
provided content. We may track this information separately to identify popular content
on our site.

Anonymous information: We may collect IP addresses and other server-generated
information for demographic purposes.

Cookies: Cookies are information generated by our servers and stored on your personal
computer, which improve your experience by saving your preferences and other
information related to your individual use of the technology. We may use cookies from
time to time- you can disable this functionality in your web browser, but doing so may
render some or all of the site inoperable.

Use of information: We may share the information gathered with our partners to tailor
your user experience, provide information about our services, and offer both content and
opportunities we think you may enjoy.

Location: The information we gather is stored and processed within the United States.
By using the technology, you agree to such storage and processing, regardless of the

Government Action: We reserve the absolute right to release any and all information
at our sole discretion when requested in the course of any legal action, court order,
law enforcement, statutory or other governmental authority or proceeding or when we
believe in good faith that disclosing this information is otherwise necessary, including

interference with the right of ourselves, other users, or other third parties who could

Correcting or Deactivating your account: You may correct inaccuracies in your user
information or deactivate your account and remove the ability of other users or the public
from seeing your information by emailing . Such requests may take

California Privacy Rights: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California
residents to request from some businesses certain information regarding disclosure of of
your personal information to other parties for their direct marketing purposes. While we
do not presently meet the criteria required to comply with this law, as a courtesy we do so
