Description From Github: https://github.com/guardianproject/Gibberbot/issues/204 Please add a feature to allow for three conversation modes instead of two: 1 - no OTR or Encryption (supported today). 2 - OTR only, no Encryption, compatible with Google Talk as well as standard Jabber (new feature), to be switched on by a new button to the left of the padlock button. 3 - OTR and Encryption (supported today) performed using the padlock button. This way I can replace Google Talk with this app and at least get OTR support on conversations, with an eye to eventually getting the people on the other end to use encryption later.
