Description Devices: LG Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy SIV, Samsung Tab 3 Lite. Versions of Android represented (respectively): 4.3, 4.4.2 and 4.2.2 Behavior: After signing in, user attempts to initiate an encrypted chat with a contact who is online. Result is the progress loop immediately next to the lock icon turns endlessly, as if trying to establish the connection. The connection never completes and never times out. Troubleshooting: We were at a loss for ideas. The only thing we tried turned out to be a solution: Solution: We power-cycled the devices and this seemed to fix the problem for all three.
