Description Presently in ChatSecure RC2 the user experience for doing a two way QR code verification of OTR fingerprints is a little bit cumbersome. The following is my experience today: 1) Both parties start an OTR conversation in ChatSecure. 2) Each parties clicks the "tap here to verify" intending to do a QR code comparison. 3) Both parties clicks the "scan qr code" button. 4) Both parties stand around with the QR code scanner app open. In order to DISPLAY a QR code you have to: 1) be in an OTR secured conversation 2) open the sidebar and choose "Fingerprint" I propose adding a button to the "Tap here to Verify" popup next to the "scan qr code" button for "display QR code". It seems the most intuitive place, as both parties are likely to be in/or near this screen at the time of wishing to do a fingerprint exchange. Thoughts?
