Hello Folks,
Thanks for developing your very helpful application, Orbot. I have recently encountered a problem accessing the Orbot app on my two android phones. In each case it happened six months apart and now the app is useless on both phones after functioning flawlessly. I have tried the following self help remedies to no avail: reloading the app; disabling the anti-virus; and clearing the cache. The error messages I received are the following: "Unable to start Tor: Cannot kill/data/data" and on the other phone "%S attempts to create a VPN connection: by proceeding you are giving the application permission to intercept all network traffic, Do NOT accept unless you trust the application, otherwise you run the risk of having your data compromised by a malicious software".
Please help me solve these problems with the Orbot app.
