While Orbot alone appears to be working, it doesn't appear to be communicating with the localhost server created by running any of the available Android webserver apps. I have a spare Samsung Captivate that I have been trying to run a Tor hidden service on. I first tried using the PAWS webserver with port 8080, and setting the Hidden Service Port within Orbot to port 8080 as well, restarting the Orbot app, and attempting to access the newly generated {hostname}.onion from my laptop. Unfortunately, I was unable to connect to the hidden service.

  1. My Setup #####
    Device: Samsung Captivate/Galaxy Nexus
    Webserver: PAWS / kWS Pro / ServDroid.web

Webserver Port: 8080 / 80
Hidden Service Port within Orbot Settings: 80,8080

I can access sdcard/tor/ at by running the webservers alone. But once Tor starts, I can't. This is expected. But I also cannot connect to the {hostname}.onion generated by Orbot. Both of my devices are rooted and are setup within Orbot to proxy everything.

Please help me.

Transparent proxying may be interfering with the web servers ability to be accessed. Please disable transparent proxying for the whole device, or at least for the web server.
