Description

Currently audio does not cross-fade. Audio clips fade to 0 at the end, after which the next clip fades up. This is especially noticeable in audio files that are shared to soundcloud, because the soundcloud embed shows a waveform. see: https://storymaker.cc/kurdish-food3-3/

The audio should cross-fade, which means the fade pattern looks like an X. At the SAME point when Clip 1 begins to fade out from full volume to zero, Clip 2 should begin to fade up from zero to full volume.

Can you provide some specifics about what is happening with the audio fade?

I.E. any info on how long the cross fade is, and where it starts and stops in relation to each clip.

I'm sure Niels or I could help guide that to a good feeling crossfade.

This relates to feature #132 which requests Cross fades. Currently, as far as we can tell looking at the audio waveforms on soundcloud, when a clip ends it fades out, when this fade is complete, the next clip fades up. Feature #132 should be implemented, and care should be taken so that the fades are not aggressive, as per Steve's initial request.

For v1, this is essentially the same as feature #132 . Once we have crossfades, we will need to make sure they work well.

That work, Steve?
