All apps always routed through Orbot?

Hi!
I have installed Orbot on my Android device with CM11M12.
I granted root access for Orbot. But when routing all apps
through Orbot, most of them get no connnection to the internet.
For example Google Play.
So I limited the routing only to some apps, for example Firefox.
But even then, the other apps still have no connection when
Orbot is running. Only the selected apps should be routed
through Orbot. The other should have a "direct" connection.
Or am I wrong?
