Description

If network configuration changes, for instance, going from Wi-Fi to cellular network client will show status "signing in" and never reconnect to xmpp server. This has been an issue that comes and goes depending on the RC release used. In earlier releases was an issue, then worked perfectly (delay to reconnect and sign in was <60 seconds), now it is back. This one is pretty important to fix as users are constantly flipping between Wi-Fi and cellular networks (leaving house, entering office or home, etc) and the application will no longer reconnect making it pretty useless.

After doing more testing, seems the auto reconnect works if network condition changes if the phone is active. If phone is in sleep mode (screen off) it does not reconnect properly upon network changes.

turning off Wi-Fi optimization on the Nexus 4 and see if that improves the reconnect function.
