Description
Using a rooted Nexus One with a factory flashed and upgraded to 2.3.6 I run into this error message:
Attention:
Unable to sign in to the XMPP service. Please try again later. (Detail: Cannot connect to server. Please check your connection.)
I am using wi-fi.
The previous release of gibberbot had worked without changing anything. I tried the latest debug build from the build site, but it doesn't seem to want to install on my phone.

the xmppconnection issue has been resolved. it was related to SRV record lookup.
